This may be early in the evening to jump in. Price hasn’t moved in 2 hours. The other pairs that I’m watching aren’t moving either, so I’m not entering other trades.

Sell EU 1.3393 11:31 a.m. Pacific
I closed this trade by mistake!
Be careful ~ I bought by mistake, which I be in profit on if the order went through, however, it closed my sell order instead. This new platform sucks!!
Watch it to see how it would have done.

Down to -15 -8 on these trades
I’ve already been in this trade for 2 hours. Price isn’t moving at 2:00 in the afternoon!
3 hours now. I could have taken a small profit, but was waiting for breakeven on the first trade that got closed, plus I’m trying to let the trade run into a bit more than minimum profit. Price is now back to going the wrong direction!
After 6 hours, I’m thinking I should enter this trade again, so when it finally does reach my target, it will have been worth the wait!
Okay. Well, see … now it’s moving further up, after I entered the order!!
Sell EU 1.3407 5:45
Sell EU 1.3415 6:15
Sell EU 1.3422 6:20
I keep entering whenever the latest entry reaches -10, with the spread they are really only -7 apart. I’ll have to learn to enter after a greater gap.
7:30 pm and I’m still waiting on this. Is this why I should trade at midnight??
11:00 p.m. I’ve now entered this 7 times, as the price continues to go up.
I could have gotten out with about +5 several hours after first entering, but I was trying to make a few more, rather than always exiting with only +5. Now look what happened, whereas every other time, it kept going past my exit of +5.
This is getting silly to keep entering with it going against me. Maybe I should slow down and enter after a larger gap.
I entered a lot more often, but my first order is now 49 down. I don’t know if that’s a lot or not?? The silly thing is, it’s been going on all day.
I moved my target to breakeven for the first order in case it came down that far, I didn’t want to miss it waiting for it to reach the first order that was cancelled. I set limits and went to sleep.
It hit my target within the next hour. By the way, it did reach the first order price.

I’m playing with a practice account at Oanda. They have tighter spreads so it would be a good move. However, their trading platform sucks!
In order to get the lot size you want, you have to enter with a number of units
100 units = $0.01 per point
1,000 units = $0.10 per point
10,000 units = $1.00 per point
They don’t just set Lots for all trades?
I figured this out with the following trades. You can enter the number of units and keep it there for the trading session to keep entering with the same amount.
Margin for $0.10 per point is about $23.00, so this will take some adjusting.

I was so tired after staying up until 3:00 am trading on Sunday night, that I fell asleep at around 11:00 pm Monday night, rather than stay up again two nights in a row.
I traded Tuesday, starting at 11:30 am. The market is so quiet all day that it felt like a waste of time.
This has been an ongoing challenge, living in California while trying to trade. I will post the results from Tuesdays trade later today.
Note: The time for trades is given in London time.

I’m playing with this today to see how it goes.
If I want to post a chart, it looks like this:
Wow, that’s really small. Try again:
That’s huge. We’ll see how it looks. That image was so huge, I deleted it!
So, I can’t edit the HTML? I can’t hit enter to just start a new line, not a new paragraph? This is going to take some playing with.
Okay, so I can’t enter HTML. Let’s try just starting a new line …
here.
So every time I want to start a new line, I have to go edit the HTML?
I do it all the time!
More later …
